Automatic Insurance with First Class Trophy
First Class Trophy is a responsible taxidermy company which provides customers with the highest possible service and quality. This also applies to insurance. From the moment we receive your trophy, until you collect the finished product, your trophy is automatically insured by us.
First Class Trophy co-operates with the First Marine A/S Nytorv 3-1450 Copenhagen K, Denmark. First Marine’s Cover Holder for Lloyd’s of London. The insurance covers fire, theft, water and transport damage. You can read and download the detailed insurance conditions here.
The trophy is insured for an amount equivalent to the cost of taxidermy work and the trophy’s value. The total maximum automatic insurance coverage for a trophy is DKK 10 000.
Insurance ALL INCLUSIVE concepts
If you are using one of our ALL INCLUSIVE concepts, your trophies will automatically be insured from the moment our shipping partner collects them from the local ‘Dip & Pack’ partner, all the way until you receive them. (Please note that this means that the trophies are not insured when the trophies are on the hunting farm / outfitter and under processing by the local “Dip & Pack” taxidermist). Our insurance covers trophy fee, ‘Dip & Pack” cost, taxidermy work and transport cost. The total maximum automatic insurance coverage for a ALL INCLUSIVE trophy is DKK 15 000.The insurance covers fire, theft, water and transport damage. Supplementary Insurance
If you wish, you can take out supplementary insurance for a trophy that represents a higher value than the coverage of DKK 10 000 (approx. 1.400 EUR). You can choose an additional amount of up to DKK 2 million (approx. 270.000 EUR).
The cost for additional insurance is DKK 100 (approx. 14 EUR) per each DKK 10 000 (approx. EUR 1400) coverage.
If you would like to take advantage of this, please mention this to your First Class Trophy taxidermy consultant, who will put it in your order. We will then make a separate policy on this. As our client, you only need to transfer the premium to our bank account with the following message: Supplement Insurance + order no. Once we receive payment, the additional insurance takes effect.
